Chen Cang Old Streetcovers an area of 14 acres, with a construction area of about 50,000 m2 and an investment of more than RMB 800 million. It takes the culture of Baoji 1941 Republic of China as the theme and combines the city’s centuries-old history to reproduce the charm of Baoji. It has become a city full-scale leisure culture business experience space with the inheritance of non-legacy folk culture, the popular culture and enjoyment, the cuisine center, the parent-child carnival experience, the romantic ecological rest, and the county spiritual culture.
The origin of the project was a set of photographs taken by the American war correspondent “Karl, Maddens” in Baoji in 1941. We studied the unique architectural essence of the Republic of China, and restored the urban memory of Old Baoji in 1941. The project covers an area of 14 acres, with a construction area of about 50,000 m2and an investment of more than RMB 800 million. The project is backed by Shi-ku Mountain, located at the southern end of the Shi-ku Culture Lounge Bridge. It is the throat of connecting the Weibin District and the High-tech District. It is also the only way for tourists to enter the China Bronze Ware Museum and the Shi-ku Garden in China. According to the administrative pattern of Baoji that is “three districts, nine counties and one high-tech district”, the project is composed of three major themes: “Impression Jiu County, Baoji 1941 Scenario Street and Parent-child Entertainment Performing Arts Experience Zone”. The company is affiliated with Beijing Joyceland Business Management Co., Ltd., and establishes its own product brand, which inputs international first- and second-line products, covering “food and beverage retail, parent-child interaction, leisure and entertainment, and non-lost culture, in order to create a “Full-scale cultural travel and leisure destinations” in province.
